What is IDSA?
The IDSA remains an autonomous, self regulatory body for the direct selling industry in India. The Association acts as an interface between the industry and policy makers—ensuring an open line of communication is maintained with government bodies. The IDSA stamp of approval today is recognized as a shield of security and safety for you—the direct seller/consultant and the consumer. It reinforces the fact that you are dealing with an organization that takes care of your interests.

IDSA also has a range of activities that include educating consumers about direct selling, working with the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) on a wide range of projects, self regulation of the industry via implementation of the IDSA Code of Ethics by our mentor companies, lobbying with the government for policy framework, as well as undertaking research and surveys to highlight trends and bring out any issues related to the industry.
